BioMin has a higher remineralisation/repair rate

University testing has shown BioMin F to have a higher enamel remineralisation repair rate than market leading specialised products. The continual availability of calcium phosphate and fluoride helps accelerate the remineralisation process.

Clinical studies show :
  • BioMin F  vs 9,000 fluoride toothpaste. BioMin F remineralises 51% to 86% faster and has a deeper remineralisation rate§
  • BioMin F vs regular fluoride toothpaste.  A study compared the remineralisation of carious (decay) lesions, BioMin’ rate or remineralisation was almost 2X higher. (118.73 vs 60.54)^.
BioMin’s unique performance :

Fluoride is the key active ingredient in toothpaste, however in about 90 mins after brushing it drops below a beneficial level. BioMin F is the only toothpaste that can control and extend the availability of fluoride, up to 12 hours or 8 times longer. Fluoride availability helps to fight decay, drives the remineralisation / enamel repair process, and hardens the tooth. To further drive the remineralisation process delivers bio-available calcium & phosphate (the building blocks of enamel).

Treating sensitive teeth

BioMin gets inside the cause of sensitivity (not just covers over it), the tooth’s open tubule and seals from within, delivering a greater reduction in sensitivity.  We can never guarantee BioMin will work for all – our statistics prove BioMin works very well.

73% survey respondents said BioMin F was “more effective” than any other sensitivity toothpaste they had used. Source

88% of responses on ProductReview.com.au saw a sensitivity improvement. (1/5/23)

4 clinical papers showed BioMin F performs very very favourably against market leading supermarket and pharmacy sensitivity toothpaste brands

Note:  Like all sensitivity toothpaste, BioMin needs to be used on an ongoing basis.

  1. Way better than your common brands of toothpaste . Tastes great too.

  2. This toothpaste performs brilliantly in the short-term but I’m very concerned about the inclusion of titanium dioxide and SLS in the ingredients, and therefore health and gum impacts in the long-term. I wish they would instead use cocamidopropyl betaine instead of SLS, which is a highly effective foaming agent, and remove the titanium dioxide since titanium dioxide doesn’t benefit the teeth and is controversial due to questions around its safety. Titanium dioxide is banned in some European countries:

(This widely-cited article suggests that “Numerous scientific articles have observed that TiO2 can pass and be absorbed by the mammalian gastrointestinal tract; can bioconcentrate, bioaccumulate, and biomagnify in the tissues of mammals and other vertebrates; has a very limited elimination rate; and can cause histopathological and physiological changes in various organs of animals.”)

(This widely-cited review article talks of “knowledge gaps as to local gastrointestinal effects of TiO2 particles, primarily on the mucosa and the gut-associated lymphoid system. Tissue distributions after oral administration of TiO2 differ from other exposure routes, thus limiting the relevance of data obtained from inhalation or parenteral injections”)

This article raises some concerns about SLS in toothpaste https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/2696932/

This web article suggests SLS reduces the bioavailability of fluoride – if Biomin were to replace the SLS with cocamidopropyl betaine it would likely make BioMin even more effective

This article suggests that SLS may irritate / damage the gums: https://nutritionfacts.org/2021/04/01/is-sodium-lauryl-sulfate-sls-in-toothpaste-safe/

This video suggests that non-foaming toothpastes are even better for the gums than cocamidopropyl betaine so it’s not clear why foaming agents are even necessary https://nutritionfacts.org/video/is-capb-in-sls-free-toothpaste-any-better/

  3. The best toothpaste! My main reason to buy was to protect against demineralisation… flecks on your teeth. I had a few teeny ones… and they are now gone since using Biomin. I don’t brush with anything else now! My dentist even noticed!

  4. Very happy so far! Enjoy the flavour and fingers crossed my teeth are improving.

  5. Definitely recommend this toothpaste. My teeth had become so sensitive to cold food & drinks & also the cold air, it was becoming unbearable. I was already using sensitive toothpaste but I wasn’t getting any relief. I looked online for help & found BioMin toothpaste, after 2-3 days of use the sensitivity had gone. I will be buying this again.

  6. Toothpaste was recommended by dentist and I absolutely love it .

  7. I noticed a difference in my teeth after the first day of using this toothpaste, pretty incredible. I was not expecting an immediate change! Great product, happy with it.

  8. Who knew that such a quality product still uses FLUORIDE!! Given that it is the worst ingredient to look out for- a neurotoxin and really bad for my thyroid autoimmune condition. Here I was, thinking I was doing a great thing for my health, buying remineralising toothpaste! Buyer beware but I didn’t notice it as an ingredient and I bought 4 tubes. And I’m supposed to leave it in my mouth, not rinse? UGH!

  9. Dentists had told me for the last 5 years that my enamel had gone on my teeth, and there was nothing i could do about it. You change what and how you eat to avoid pain, and you get by. I read an article about how you could regrow your tooth enamel with the right kind of toothpaste. I searched Google and found BioMin. I’m no dentist, so I cant tell you if my enamel is regrowing or not. What i do know is that i can eat whatever i want again, with no pain whatsoever, and i’ll never stop using BioMin toothpaste.

  10. No significant improvements
